Terms of Service

Video-Matic is operated by Growth Acceleration ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using video-matic.com (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Video-Matic provides online video processing tools (trimming, merging, converting, compressing, captioning, and similar operations). You upload a video, choose a tool, and download the processed result. Uploaded files and processed results are automatically deleted from our storage within 24 hours.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and be legally capable of entering into a contract. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Credits and payments

The Service uses a credit system. Each tool consumes a set number of credits per job. Credits are purchased as one-time packs through our payment provider, Stripe — there is no subscription. Credits do not expire.

  • If you have not used any credits from a purchased pack, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting support. Once any credit from a pack has been used, the pack is non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
  • If a processing job fails on our side, the credits used for that job are automatically refunded to your account balance.
  • Prices are shown at checkout and may change; changes never affect credits you have already purchased.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to process content that:

  • is illegal or promotes illegal activity;
  • infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party;
  • contains malware or is designed to disrupt or abuse the Service (including attempts to circumvent rate limits or farm free credits).

You must own the rights to the videos you upload, or have permission from the rights holder. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos you upload and to the processed results. We claim no ownership over your content. We only store and process your files to deliver the Service, and all files are deleted from our storage within 24 hours of upload. Download your results promptly — we cannot recover files after deletion.

6. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without any uptime guarantee or service-level agreement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Rate limits apply to keep the Service fair for everyone.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example by email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
